A collaboration between Hostelworld and Frontier Airlines, travelers will receive discounted hostel stays and round trips to festival destinations.
GeoGuessr x Hostelworld
The online game that tasks players to pinpoint geographical locations based on Google Street View images will offer a new perspective.
In the upcoming mode, users’ guesses will be based on images taken solely from the doorsteps of hostels. High scores will be rewarded with a discount on stays.
Tourist Trap QR Codes
To ensure they are keeping with their promise to deliver the most authentic travel experience as possible, Hostelworld will place branded QR codes near classic tourist traps that redirect travelers to more memorable locations.
Train Station Trails
Booked your ticket before your next accommodation? No worries. Just scan the QR code outside of some of Europe’s busiest train stations (Paris, Rome, and Berlin) and follow the AR trail from the transit hub to the nearest hostel.
Vagabonds in the Breaking
Ready to embrace the vagabond life, but a lease is standing in your way? Hostelworld wants to pay you to break it. Tweet us a video telling us why you’re ready to become a true digital nomad, and Hostelworld will choose 20 people to free from the restrictions of rent.
